Questions

Xero can already read bills. Why would I use this?

Xero's own bill capture works well for many businesses. This kit works from the inbox you already use, codes bills with your own rules, skips duplicates, and keeps a log of anything that needs checking. If Xero's capture already does what you need, you may not need this kit.

Will it approve or pay bills?

No. It only creates draft bills. You check and approve them in Xero as usual.

What if a bill needs splitting across accounts?

It comes in as one line on the account that fits best. Split it in Xero before you approve it.

I use Outlook. Will it work?

Not yet. It uses Gmail labels and search, so it needs Gmail or Google Workspace.
