It's set up to answer only from your website and the facts you give it, to say when it isn't sure, and to offer to take their details instead. You can read every conversation in Chatbase and add answers as you go.
Do I need to pay for Chatbase?
Yes, for a live website. Lead capture needs the Hobby plan (US$40 a month). You can build and test on the free plan first.
Will it reply to leads for me?
It drafts a reply in your Gmail for you to check and send. You can switch to automatic replies once you're happy with them.
Does it work with my website?
If your website lets you add a piece of code to every page, yes. That covers WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, Webflow and most others, though some site builders only allow it on paid plans.
